  I just saw this and I think it’s imperative that I clear up a few things so that anyone planning on renting a condo at this facility has accurate information. First of all, the “garbage” that was left by one of our cars was NOT left by us. Just because something is by someone’s car does not mean that it was that person who left it. We were also not asked if it was our “garbage”, we were accused. They never provided any proof that we left it just a picture of the “garbage”. I put “garbage” in quotes because it was two cups. Next, as far as the piñata. I really don’t know where they pulled that from. Maybe they got some rooms mixed up because I think we would remember having a piñata. Not to mention the “12,000 to 15,000” is an extreme overestimation. I wouldn’t say the entire condo contents were worth that. They obviously couldn’t even afford someone to clean the condo because I personally had to clean it myself save from the embarrassment when my other family members arrived. Lastly, for the whole stolen cups fiasco, we would never take anything and were very offended that we were once again accused of something we didn’t do. They threatened to take our deposit and then must have found the missing items because we got an email soon after saying they would send the deposit. The manager’s response to our email requesting our deposit was an apology and telling us this owner was high maintenance and had caused problems before. We were perfectly fine with paying the $33 because that was in the contact and we never said anything about that. If anyone is considering staying at this facility, please email me if you have any further questions. I can send you some of the emails we got just as a glimpse to what you might see. Also be ready for the manager to call at anytime and then come up to open the door herself to show the condo to guests. Very rude even if they mention it in the contract. As far as Rex’s comments, you must either be one of two things. A owner or friend of the manger to try to make the page look better and make us look like liars or a guest who fits into their little clique. Not to mention I don’t believe any of the scenarios we were accused of had anything to do with reading the rules (which I did personally read twice). Rex you should really get facts before responding. However, I am not stooping to their level and making accusations about anyone. We work solely off of facts. We are also not people to complain or make any trouble. Our family has been visiting the Daytona/Ponce Inlet area for decades and have never had any problems. If you’re looking for clean rooms, to not find a bug in the bed, nice owners, or a hospitable environment then I would strongly consider looking elsewhere. That’s what we get for looking for a good deal... I guess you get what you pay for.

  We were constantly harassed and degraded by the owners at this place. It is a very pretty property, but we felt out of place, unwelcome and like lower class citizens during our entire stay. We were never spoken to or kindly greeted by the other owners, but they certainly followed us around trying to find us doing something wrong. They just stared at us like we were invading their property. If they didn't want to welcome renters, they should not be renting. And to top it all off, when we asked about the return of our deposit, they even went so far as to accuse us of stealing drinking glasses from the Condo. Come on now....really!! We don't steal! We don't have to steal, we have money. If we needed/wanted glasses we could buy them. In fact, we bought Solo cups from the store to drink out of because there were no regular drinking glasses in the Condo, only plastic outdoor drinkware that looked dirty and dingy. They are crooks and slanderous hypocrites and I would advise anyone to stay away from this place. They would like nothing more than to keep your $500 deposit and they will go to great lengths to do so. They should consider raising their rental rates if they are hurting that badly for money!!
